We have analyzed the difference in the requirements of industrial management systems. It shown by example of ISO 22000:07 (food safety) and ISO/TS 16949:09 (QMS in automotive industry). It is advisable to apply tools and management methods from other industrial management systems for achievement of food industry enterprises competitiveness, we believe.
So, it is good to use process flow mapping; FMEA techniques; management plans; compiling working instructions. It is desirable to compile management procedures as concisely as possible in a tabular form.
For planning improvements, it’s useful, following the example of automakers, to develop a plan for managing the quality of food and monitor, for example, in assessing their quality by consumers, as well as their satisfaction with the service. Of course, all tools require adaptation to industrial conditions.
