Education is an essential tool with the help of which the leadership is able to influence the formation of the industrial culture, improve the capacity of human resources, as well as contribute to the successful achievement of the organization’s objectives. Application of modern technologies requires the introduction of new forms of learning and constant improvement of the competence of the employees whose activities affect performance and output quality of production. One of the forms of training, which allows solving this problem, is an industrial training in the workplace. As an example, I consider the experience of in-company training — Training Within Industry (TWI). I have discussed such issues as what the TWI is, practical training for TWI technology in the workplace and industrial training at KAMAZ-Diesel. The structure of industrial training, direction, methodology and the programme for technology training, as well as the results and recommendations are on consideration.
