Typology of Higher Education Systems Taking in the Modern World

The author considers the problems of higher professional education system’s development at the present time. The diversity of concepts and practical approaches to the management of innovation development in this sphere is due to differences in organizational management structures of higher education systems and institutional framework, formed in each country. However, along with specific development peculiarities we can find general tendencies peculiar to different models of higher education, approved in different countries. One of them is the search for innovative approaches to the management of this sphere in modern conditions.
In my research I took into the consideration the models of the higher education systems in different countries in terms of the customers’ satisfaction, funding and needs’ formation mechanism. Russia's transition to the Bologna system demanded a complete change in the legal framework of national education. Reasonable balance between the government and universities’ autonomy, the university autonomy and the emergence of informational target groups of consumers all are the aspects of current trends in higher education. Thus, the search for new ways of higher education development is quite necessary in today's world.
